ROYALS 2019 (BOYS) OFF TO FAST START
WITH TWO TOURNAMENT WINS
With victories in the championship games at the Southwest Ohio Kickoff Tournament (March 19-20) and the Clash on the Courts (Lexington April 2-3), the 2019 Royals added two more tournament titles. In the finals of the Southwest Ohio Kickoff it was Dontaie Allen leading the way with 29 points, while in the Clash On the Courts final it was Blaine Walter with 24 followed by Ty Houston with 22 and Tanner Lawrence with 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the way.
2020 ROYALS (GIRLS) WINNERS AT CLASH ON THE COURTS IN LEXINGTON
In their first tournament of the 2016 season, the 2020 Royals (currently 7th and 8th graders) came away with the victory in the 10th grade division at the Clash on the Courts in Lexington, Kentucky, on April 2-3. The Royals were led in scoring by Piper Macke with 18 and Bella Nalle with 16 points, with twin towers LayLay Chames and Sidney Thomas combining for 37 rebounds in the final game.
U14 ROYALS (BOYS)
At the AAU National Championships at the ESPN Center in Florida, the U14 Royals captured the 2015 D2 National Championship with a 74-69 victory over Lightning Mitchell Gold in the National Championship Game.

2015 MIDWEST YOUTH TOURNAMENTS
On the heels of capturing the 2015 Kentucky Division 1 AAU State Champions-7th grade, the 2020 Royals (Girls) defeated the Indiana Blizzard in the championship finals of the Midwest Youth National Tournament. Among the accolades, Lexi Taylor is identified as one of the nation’s “Ones to Watch”.
2021 ROYALS (GIRLS)
RANKED 5TH NATIONALLY AFTER
AAU NATIONAL TOURNAMENT FINISH
After a very impressive run at the 2015 AAU Division 1 National tournament, the 6th grade Kentucky Royals (Class of 2021) are ranked 5th nationally. Led by 7th graders Brooklyn Miles (Franklin County High School) and Sidney Thomas (Covington Holy Cross High School) who are already seeing significant varsity time at high caliber high schools, the 2021 Royals ride an impressive and successful 2015-16 into the 2016 AAU season.
2022 ROYALS (GIRLS)
RANKED 8TH NATIONALLY AFTER
AAU NATIONAL TOURNAMENT FINISH
At the 2015 AAU National Tournament, the 2022 Kentucky Royals rolled to 7 consecutive victories over ranked teams to finish 8th in the 5th Grade AAU Division 1 tournament.
Royals Girls 5th-6th-7th sweep Jaguar Classic in Louisville, May 17-18
The Royals Girls had a good weekend in Louisville on May 17-18, sweeping the 5th grade division, the 6th grade division and the 7th grade division of the tournament. (The 7th grade won their championship in the 5:00 championship game, then traveled to Cincinnati for the 8:00 championship game at Nothin But Net …. which they won to complete a perfect 14-0 season playing up in the 9th grade division.) Way to go girls!

state championships, as the 7th grade girls won the
Division 1 Championship and the U14 boys won the
Division 2 Championship.
KENTUCKY ROYALS U14 BOYS
The Kentucky Royals basketball program is an AAU and Exposure basketball program designed to prepare, train and condition youth basketball athletes. The KRB provides year round teams designed to advance the skill level and knowledge of the sport of basketball. Each youth basketball athlete will receive training from a highly skilled and trained coach that is dedicated to helping each athlete reach their desired goals.
The Kentucky Royals Basketball program consists of various age teams. All teams function as year-round teams. However, activity does vary according to the time of the year and age of the team. All teams are open for try-outs year round.
